Audi goes electric - again
AUDI has reinforced its commitment to electric mobility by revealing its second battery car in four months.
Unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show, the German firm's latest e-tron concept reaches the benchmark 62mph acceleration rate in just 5.9 seconds, goes on to a top speed of 124mph and has a range of 155 miles.
The car features compact aluminium and carbon fibre reinforced plastic bodywork that weighs only 1,350kg despite carrying a lithium ion battery pack.
