Forest-fresh driving from Infiniti

AIR CONDITIONING with the gentle breezes, humidity and natural scents of a forest will be available on the next new car from Japanese luxury brand Infiniti.

The manufacturer, which launched Infiniti in the UK only last week, claims the climate control system developed for all versions of its next M saloon is the first to emulate the air of the natural environment.

'We looked to the forest for inspiration because we believe most people rate forest air as the cleanest and most refreshing. As such it's ideal at promoting an overall feeling of wellness and relieving stress as well as helping keep the driver alert,' said a spokesman.

To be marketed as Forest Air, the system delivers nature's gentle breezes, optimum humidity and scents while filtering out unpleasant smells, bugs or pollen from the car's interior.

'The result is our most sophisticated climate control system yet and one the engineers who developed it believe is class-leading in many ways by offering exceptionally clean and refreshing air quality in all driving situations,' said the spokesman.

Examples of the third-generation M series line-up are expected to reach UK showrooms in autumn next year.
