Vauxhall Corsa is 'L' of a car

THE Vauxhall Corsa has been voted Britain's Training Car of the Year for the fourth consecutive time, polling almost half of all the votes cast by driving instructors.

A total of 43.9 per cent of readers of the newspaper for approved driving instructors, adiNEWS, voted for the Corsa.

The environmentally-friendly Corsa 1.3 CDTi ecoFLEX model received most of the votes because of its tax-saving C02 emissions figure of under 120g/km.

The Corsa also gained marks for low insurance, road tax and maintenance costs.

Vauxhall marketing director Andy Gilson, said: "We are delighted that the ADI has awarded the Corsa Training Car of the Year for the fourth year running. This award is further proof of the Corsa's ease of use for novice drivers as well as being a cost-effective business car for driving instructors."
