New mug for baby Pug
THE Peugeot 107 city car is following in the tyre tracks of its Citroen C1 clone with a facelift for 2009.
Like the Citroen, it features a new shark-like mouth to give it an instantly-distinctive appearance plus different wheel trims that Peugeot reckons will help it to appeal to younger buyers.
The interior is refreshed with new upholstery and materials whilst outside there are new colour options.
Minor mechanical modifications mean that the one-litre three-cylinder petrol engine gets improved economy and emissions, with figures of 63mpg and 106g/km, which results in a £35 annual road fund licence.
The newcomer reaches showrooms in early 2009 at which point prices will be announced.
