Diesel logo is go with Fiat 500
A LIMITED edition Fiat 500 has been created by the Fiat Style Centre designers, in co-operation with the Diesel fashion label.
Aimed at young brand lovers, the intention is to create the perfect 'Urban Survival Vehicle' that is ideal for town centre living but still highly fashionable.
The car will be called the 500 by Diesel and based on the Fiat 500 Sport version. The special edition comes in a choice of three metallic colours - green, black and brown - with 16-inch alloy wheels and unique side trim with the Diesel logo.
Inside the upholstery is specially made of denim with the Diesel logo prevalent on the gear knob and instrument panel.
Fiat UK marketing director, Elena Bernardelli, says: 'The Fiat 500 is a perfect fit for Diesel and we are pleased to have this fantastic association.'
Ten thousand of the 500 by Diesel models are to be produced and will be available with a range of three engines - a 69bhp 1.2 unit, 75bhp 1.3 Multijet diessel and 100bhp 1.4 unit - with prices starting from £11,400.
A one-off version signed by more musicians who attended a celebration of Diesel's 30th anniversary will be auctioned for charity.
