Citroen shows off Hypnos effect

A HYBRID cross-over vehicle called the Hypnos is Citroen?s new concept car to be unveiled at its home motor show in Paris.

The futuristic coupe uses a 200bhp engine but has fuel economy of more than 60 miles per gallon and exhaust emissions of 120g/km.

Citroen says the Hypnos demonstrates cars of the future can be ecologically sound while still delivering driver enjoyment.

As with other cross-over vehicles the Hypnos combines sporty styling with saloon car features and the space of an SUV.

The concept will make its Paris debut during the first two weeks of October.
