Beekeeping for beginners creates a buzz

A NEW session of Beekeeping for Beginners attracted around 20 people to Ayr’s Doonfoot Primary School.

And newcomers are welcome to join them at a meeting in the school on Wednesday, March 4 at 7.30pm.

At the first meeting, Phil MacAnespie gave an overview of beekeeping.

The audience also heard about the seeming cruelty of nature, where a Queen bee will sting all her sisters to death in order to reign unopposed.
