South Ayrshire people can get help to trace family trees

LOOKING for good advice on your family tree?

Expert John Weston is just the man who can help.

And next week he is giving a talk on How to Compile Your Family Tree on Computer.

John is the guest of Alloway and Southern Ayrshire Family History Society.

And his talk/demonstration will take place in Alloway Church Hall on Thursday, October 16, starting at 7.45pm.

John is currently the society’s webmaster, and his talk will be followed by an extended workshop, open to members and non-members.

Those attending are asked to bring along a relevant document, such as a birth, marriage or death certificate.

There is a small charge of £1 for non-members.
