Game for Mexican magic?

INSPIRATION can come in the most unexpected forms.

And for residents of Morrison Gardens it was a box of tortillas.

They opted to hold a Mexican fiesta after someone donated them to the sheltered housing complex in Ayr.

Warden Mary Hendren explained: “Our projects and themed activities are pre-planned and all residents have the choice to take part.

“They are consulted at every stage of planning. We are all about active ageing and our activities introduce opportunities for learning.

“We differentiate according to individual needs, aspirations and abilities. Everyone took part in the hat-making, some had said they weren't good at art but you can see how well they have done!”
