Charity Santa dash to be held in Ayr

CHRISTMAS is coming early for one band of fundraisers.

Ayrshire Cancer Support swamped the streets with Santas to drum up support for their latest event.

They’re holding a 5k dash along Ayr Esplanade next month – with everyone dressing up as Mr Claus.

Fundraiser Ann Porter said: “We provide a free Santa outfit to wear on the day and to keep.

“It can be decorated or personalised in whatever way its new owner decides.”
