A POSTAL ballot of 1500 tenants elected three people to Ayrshire Housing’s board.
There were five candidates for the three places, with the result announced at the AGM.
The poll was conducted under the auspices of the Electoral Reform Society, using the single transferable vote system.
The trio elected included Pearl Barton from Maybole and Linda Allison from Ayr, who were both seeking re-election.
They are joined by newcomer Nancy Cassidy, who lives in Ayrshire Housing’s popular Citadel development in Ayr.
The AGM heard of the group’s continuing progress, with housing assets worth over £31 million.
And it was reported that building projects worth over £16 million are currently on site.
These will produce a further 160 houses over the coming year.
