Ayr sponsored walk to be held for rehab centre

A CHARITY sponsored walk is held on Sunday, October 5, on a five-mile route round Ayr.

It will raise cash for the Douglas Grant Rehabilitation Centre at Ayrshire Central Hospital, Irvine.

The walk begins from Blackburn car park on the seafront at 2pm, and all are welcome.

The route is by Ayr promenade, the Millennium Bridge over River Doon, Belleisle Park and Rozelle Park.

Finella is a continuing patient of the centre, and says she owes her mobility to its services.
