Prestwick pair produce Simply Good Food

A PAIR of Prestwick women are living their dream by running their own coffee shop.

Grace and Fiona have transformed popular craft shop Make 'n’ Take in Prestwick’s Main Street into a traditional tea room and coffee shop.

Both girls wanted to be fully involved in the project and helped in the total refurbishment of the premises, ensuring that the interior was spacious with comfortable surroundings.

Grace said: “It was important for us to be really involved in the whole process to ensure our customers had the right surrounding to enjoy their meal."

Having enhanced the interior with air conditioning, Grace added: "We are eagerly anticipating hot summers but also capable of handling the Scottish cold winters we’ve provided a comfortable atmosphere for customers no matter the weather. “

The girls offer something for everyone, from homemade soup and scones to smoothies, a deli and a healthy options kiddies menu.

Fiona added: “With the selection of good food available on the menu we believe we have something for everyone, so come along and visit 120 Main Street where everyone will be welcome, and you can be served Simply Good Food."

And if you take this story into the cafe you will be entered into a prize draw to win a meal for two, a large handmade delicious delight or a hand crafted necklace from a selection of local handmade craft gifts on sale in the shop.
