Supermodel response has been amazing – but we want more

GORGEOUS guys and girls are clamouring to become Ayrshire Supermodel 2008.

We’ve had scores of calls from across the county from wanabes booking their place in our contest.

And the good news is – there’s still plenty of time to make sure that you don’t miss out on this golden opportunity.

We have a fantastic array of prizes for our lucky winner, including the chance to sign for one of Scotland’s top model agencies, The Look.

Award winning Ayrshire photographer Tom Gibson will also create a full professional portfolio for our supermodel, worth hundreds of pounds.

He or she will also be presented with a stunning diamond, courtesy of Charles Chester Jewellers of Irvine and Kilmarnock.

There is also £500 worth of Reader Holiday vouchers for the winner from Scottish and Universal Newspapers – publishers of the Ayrshire Post, Kilmarnock Standard and Irvine Herald.

Body language in Kilmarnock will also treat our new supermodel to a fabulous pamper day and if it’s a girl she can pick a super dress to the value of £300 from Glitz in Kilmarnock.

If one of our handsome Ayrshire men wins then he’ll be treated to a brand new suit.

And the prizes don’t stop there for there’s shoes and a bag from Lotus and a celebration meal at the Treehouse, Ayr, with limo hire there and back, courtesy of West Coast Limos.

Tom Gibson will set up a studio at Debenhams, Ayr, on Friday and Sunday, September 26 and 28.

All of our budding models will be photographed on the day and their pictured carried in a special supplement to be published in the Ayrshire Post, Kilmarnock Standard and Irvine Herald on October 17. Don’t forget though, you must phone 01294 202076 for an appointment.

Make sure that you bring photographic proof of your age along with the completed entry form on page 22 of this week’s paper.

Once the pictures are published, readers will have a chance to vote to help choose who will reach the last 20 and take part in our grand final at the Western House Hotel, Ayr, where our judges will decide the winner.

Every one of our finalists will be given a goody bag courtesy of Debenhams and flowers from Catkins, Prestwick.
