Summer festival acts announced

THE first headline acts have been confirmed for two of Scotland’s summer music festivals.

T in the Park will welcome back Kasabian, who will play a headline slot on the main stage. The Leicester band headlined the Radio1/NME stage in 2007 and since then have went on to play massive stadium shows. Meanwhile, Rockness has announced that The Strokes will headline on the banks of Loch Ness in 2010, they will be joined by Friendly Fires and dance fans can get excited about 2 Many DJs and Soulwax appearing over the weekend.
