HEADLINE acts for this year's Kilmarnock Edition Festival include top UK performers Calvin Harris, Lloyd Cole and the Saw Doctors.
East Ayrshire Council recently announced the acts for the festival which will take place on 8 and 9 August at Dean Castle and the Grand Hall.
Hot from his performance on the main stage of T in the Park, Calvin Harris will perform in the Grand Hall.
At Dean Castle, Lloyd Cole, with a career spanning 25 years and a discography of 19 albums and countless singles, will make a transatlantic journey to take the stage alongside Camera Obscura on the Saturday evening.
Sunday evening at the castle will see the Saw Doctors from County Galway take the headline spot. This Irish folk band still holds the title for Ireland's biggest selling single of all time I Useta Lover.
On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, the castle courtyard will play host to a number of support acts including A Band Called Quinn and Kilmarnock's own The Symptoms. Entry to the castle courtyard in the afternoon will be free, with music taking place from 2pm to 4.30pm.
