Von Trapp adventure at Irvine's Magnum Centre

SHOWTIME is here again as the cast of Janice Marshall’s Showtime Youth Theatre prepare to stage their annual production which this year is ‘The Von Trapp Adventure’ at the Magnum Theatre, Irvine.

The dedicated performers, aged from 2½ to teens have been perfecting their performances over the past year to ensure this is the best show yet from pupils of the Janice Marshall School of Dance who come from all over Ayrshire.

Principal Janice Marshall, of Troon, said: “Taking the central role of Maria is Rachael McGinn from Alloway. Captain Von Trapp is played by Stuart Woodland from Irvine and Mark Samaris, from Troon, is Kurt, one of the Von Trapp children.”

‘The Von Trapp Adventure’ runs on the evenings of Wednesday, June 18, and on Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22, with both evening and afternoon performances.

Tickets, £8 for adults, and £6 concession, are available from the Magnum Box Office, and Fullarton Church, (Saturdays) and both Irvine or by calling 01292 319999.
