Car to be auctioned at Ayr Hospice ball

THE Royal Bank of Scotland is once again the main sponsor for the Ayrshire Hospice Ball at which one lucky person will go home with a brand new car.

The vehicle - courtesy of Arnold Clark Automobiles - will go under the expert auctioneer’s hammer of Charlie Ross of TV’s Flog It! on Saturday, June 7, in the grounds of Belleisle Country House Hotel, Ayr.

Craig Wilson, regional director, Commercial Banking with RBS, said: “The hospice plays an incredibly important role in the Ayrshire community and we are extremely proud to be main sponsors of the summer ball again this year. As well as raising large amounts of money for a very good cause, the event is always a lot of fun and a great occasion for the local community.”

Fundraising manager Louis Jardine added: “We already have concert tickets, signed sporting memorabilia and artwork, to name just a few of the superb prizes and, with the wonderful Tod Miller and the Joe Loss Orchestra back by popular demand, it is sure to be a great night.”
