IN reply to C. Dunlop who wrote in to complain that she found books in charity shops too expensive and cheaper in the shops. I would like to direct her to the sizeable book department at Capability Scotland in Newmarket Street (across from Toy Town).

FURTHER disruption is now being caused by the closure of the Gaiety Theatre, in that shows have been relocated to the Citadel Leisure Centre. In consquence, people who use this facility all year round have been put out of their accommodation.
