Outrage over cemetery damage

I AM writing to say how sick the person who destroyed Monkton graveyard has been. I must say when I read this in the Ayrshire Post, I shivered to think who could have done this.

Many people who were born and bred in Monkton, and others who stayed there for a number of years are buried there who wouldn’t have harmed a fly so they definitely do not deserve this.

I can’t believe someone would have the audacity to even dream of this disrespectful act. Many families in Monkton will be disgusted with this callous act as their loved ones are buried in that cemetery. If I knew of the scum that did it, I would not hesitate to contact the police immediately.

I stayed in Monkton most of my life and have recently moved. You wouldn’t think for a split second anyone who stays in which was once a quiet village, would do this. As there are many friendly, nice and caring people there, it’s a shame you get scum like this. I hope the scum that did this has their day.

I know of many close friends who will be more than appalled by this. Words don’t describe how sick this act actually is.
