Searching for family information

I WOULD value the assistance of your readers in finding information about the parents of Samuel and Hugh McClymont, merchants in Girvan in the late 1700s and 1800s.

Samuel died around 1819-20, but I have no information on Hugh or other siblings.

Of particular interest is the maiden name of their mother, which may have been Douglas.

I would be grateful if anyone can take my search a stage further, regarding this family tree.
