Shoddy way to treat cafe bar staff

I WAS terribly saddened to hear that along with the closure of the Gaiety Theatre the Cafe Bar is closing as well.

I have been going along to the cafe for a number of years now and the staff there have always been the most welcoming, attentive and considerate.

It is for this reason that I felt compelled to write and say how disgusted I am with the way that South Ayrshire Council have treated the staff.

They were told two days before closing that they were going to lose their jobs at the cafe bar. I have heard of that kind of treatment from some fly-by-night employers, but surely not from South Ayrshire Council!

I would like to thank the staff for their brilliant service and wish them all the very best in the future.
