Please just don't call us!

I’M pretty sure that thousands of your readers must be as fed up as I am with those accursed phone calls where, when you answer, no-one is on your line.

Of course, these are marketing calls and inevitably your phone shows number unavailable. The calls are usually generated by an autodialer. Even those folk on the Telephone Preference Service scheme are not immune as these scruffy companies will maintain that it is a call to conduct market research and they had no intention to sell anything. Believe that, not!

For myself, I would like to get hold of someone senior, if only I caught one of these cold callers before they cut out. If so, heaven help the annoying so-and-so.

Don’t call us and we will not call you!
