Cyclists keep off the pavements

I AM referring to a tragic accident that occurred some time ago down in England where a young woman was run over and killed by a pedal cyclist cycling on a narrow footpath on a footpath where he should not have been cycling along.

Instead of dismounting from his bicycle which he should have done like any other considerate cyclist he simply kept on cycling off the road and on to the footpath at full speed and colliding with the woman, knocking her to the ground and killing her as the tragic result of his selfish and careless actions.

It is a wonder that a tragic accident such as this has not taken place already involving some of those inconsiderate cyclists who think that they are breaking no laws by putting the lives of pedestrians at risk by cycling on pavements and footpaths.

These idiots cycling on pavements and footpaths are therefore putting the lives of pedestrians in danger by their stupid and selfish actions has been all too prevalent in recent years.

They seem to think that The Highway Code is simply a comic, going by their actions.

When anyone points out to them the risks that they put to pedestrians they come up with the excuse that it is safer to cycle on the pavements rather than on the road where the cars and heavy lorries are putting their lives in danger!

What about the poor pedestrians having their lives put in danger by those pavement cyclists.
