Dog owners should take care

I HAVE lived in Prestwick for over 20 years and my wife and myself have had three dogs.

My wife fought for dog bins at the Oval in Prestwick after a news article slated the dog owners in Prestwick because of the dog mess.

Now we have dog owners who are attempting to teach their dogs how to play cricket on Prestwick Cricket Club ground. Not only do they walk around the ground and throw balls they walk across the crease.

I watched over the past 20 years members and ground staff cultivate the ground with pride for the games on a Saturday. I have watch children play cricket on the ground.

If the irresponsible dog owners of Prestwick wish to continue damaging the ground why do they not help the club financially with help so that the ground and club can continue to be part of the community as a sports and recreational club and not a place to walk the dog?

The ground is a sports ground not a place to walk your dog and if you do not know me you will know the hat and I will continue to take the photographs for future use.
