More like a comedy act

I WONDER if South Ayrshire Council have it in mind to develop the Gaiety theatre site in the same way they have developed the Carrick St Halls site.

Whatever, their decision to close the theatre means that fans of song and dance, ventriloquists and other variety acts will be deprived of their enjoyment.

Better news for lovers of comic turns, however, they will still be performing in the council chamber at the County Buildings.
