THERE is a little corner in Ayr Cemetery dedicated to babies – a quiet resting place families can visit.
Parents often leave personal items like pictures, toys and candles, to help them in the grieving process.
Little Jamie-Leigh never had the chance to see a toy or flower, so her family left a little ornamental sunflower.
It was just a wee bit of sunshine to watch over her in the dark winter days.
So what kind of moronic excuse for a human being would steal that little girl’s sunflower?
Nothing can compensate what her parents and family have gone through at her passing.
But it should be their right to know their baby’s grave will be left in peace, and she will be given respect in death.
I don’t want to hear an excuse of drink or drug-fuelled antics. Whoever you are who did this, I pity you.
A very sad aunt
