Shock over shopmobility

I WAS shocked when I read of the refusal of funding for Ayr Shopmobility by South Ayrshire Council. I dread to think how we are expected to manage without the use of this excellent service as increased disability makes life even more difficult.

It is great to know that with the help of Shopmobility, we can access the shops for food, clothes, buying Christmas and birthday presents, go to the bank and dentist, and meet friends. Shopkeepers and shoppers alike are so very helpful to us.

If Councillor Hywel Davies would like to accompany me on one of my shopping outings, he will be able to see for himself just how much I value the service.
