Praise for council plan

I LEAPT with joy when I saw that blue bins would be collected from now until March! All that wrapping paper, soda cans, plastic bottles being disposed of correctly!

Can I say I always felt it was wrong for a brown collection to go on for so long when I need my blue bin emptied on a regular basis! And I know some gardeners will be unhappy - but we are not all gardeners - the same as we all do not have kids drinking cans or milk.

Whatever way round it goes the recycling can never suit everybody.

Many months my blue bin is filling over by the second week so for a few months I really welcome a lift every two weeks!

Thank South Ayrshire Council - not often you hear that!!!
