Councils confuse the issues

I NOTICED last weeks article about the new junction at Troon’s Isle of Pin Road which had to be removed immediately as it made a danger junction out of nothing.

Why are councils intent on spending money on pointless jobs like this rather than just fixing holes etc?

Many painted mini roundabouts have appeared over the last few years, one of which is at Patna shops and another at the bottom of the Bellsbank Brae which have undoubtedly caused confusion, accidents and many near misses where before there simply wasn't a problem.

Why are the council intent on making things worse?
