Walk or shop is the question

FACT: Dogs don't like being tied up outside shops while owners take their time browsing around.

I live in Prestwick Road near the new Tesco Express. Every single day throughout the day, selfish owners leave their dogs tied to the railing as they do their shopping. I would say by far the majority of the dogs howl and bark non stop until their owners finally emerge.

Why not do your shopping OR walk your dog? Is it too much effort to do both separately? As a dog lover I find this awful. How do they know someone won't come along and harm or steal their dog?

The store closes at 11pm – do you think it's fair when people are trying to drop off to sleep and are forced to listen to those poor dogs?

Please don't be so selfish or is that too much to ask nowadays?
