Solution to school charges

I NOTE from the story ‘School mail bill is a first class disgrace’ the councillor seems to offer nothing but bleating with no suggestion of a constructive solution to this minor problem compared to the major ones facing the dire finances of the district.

Here is a simple solution – why don't the council pay for the installation of the post drop off boxes, which sit in every neighbourhood of South Ayrshire, so school mail can be dropped off.

It seems they work well enough for everyone else's mail deliveries.
