Many thanks to hospital staff

WHILE on holiday in South Ayrshire I had the misfortune to suffer a heart attack.

Fortunately I was quickly attended to by paramedics and taken to Ayr Hospital.

The treatment I received at A&E probably saved my life.

My prompt transfer, firstly to coronary care and then to ward 6c contributed greatly to my recovery.

I would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and technical and auxiliary staff, along with the ambulance crews who all contributed to my survival.

Thank goodness the government did not downgrade this lovely hospital.
