AYR ANGLING CLUB: river has fished well when conditions have allowed with M. McCorskie taking a nice clean salmon for 5½ lbs. There were reports of a large run of seatrout during the past week but no reports of catches.Read
SPRINGWATER FISHERY (Dalrymple): fly loch fishing well. Scott Allardyce released 14, biggest at over 7lbs caught on a yellow dancer. Andy Dunlop released 11 on a black cat. There were many other good catches.Read
AYR went third in the West Premier Division as they returned to winning ways with a comfortable victory against West of Scotland at Hamilton Crescent.Read

COYLE WATER FISHERY (Coylton): the fishing has been very good with most anglers catching their bags. Beginning to get on top of the weed in the fly pond with most of it being cleared, so all areas can be fished without much trouble.Read
AYR ANGLING CLUB: once again, the river level has remained high. There has been a report of a nice 18lb fresh run cock salmon which was taken at the Craigie pool. The fish was verified at Gamesport.Read
BURNS TROUT FISHERY (Tarbolton): Lockerbie Angling Club visited the fishery and caught 13 fish in total. At the weigh in, the heaviest bag went to K. Andrews with four fish for 7lb 11oz.Read
