(Coylton) Bait pond: the Gallacher family from Ayr caught 10 fish between them weighing 22.2 lb. Mr Robertson from Ayr caught five fish weighing 10.5 lb, Mr Healey from Prestwick caught 5 fish weighing 12.75 lb, five-year-old Hayley Samson and her three-year-old brother Adam caught two nice fish weighing 3.5 lb on their first attempt at fishing, E. Hoddinott from Moniave caught two fish weighing 3.75 lb, Ali from Ayr caught three fish weighing 7.2 lb, D. Lowe from Edinburgh caught two fish weighing 3.3lb.

BURNS TROUT FISHERY
The fishery is holding an open pairs competition (fly or bait) on
Sunday, September 30 from 8am to 4pm, four fish limit each heaviest team bag wins. Cost is £15 each
(£30) per pair, trophies for first three.

The JJL AC visited. Heaviest bag went to C Jackson with five fish for 15lb 12oz.
A total of 40 fish were caught in total.
The RBLS from Cumbernauld also visited. Heaviest bag went to Eddie Hudghton with four fish for 10lb 5oz, heaviest fish went to Joe Malcolmson at 3lb 11oz. A total of 15 fish were caught.

Fly fishing better. Colin Campbell had seven rainbows, Colin’s autos also seven but top catch goes to Josh Adamson from Airdrie with nine fish. A lot of fish coming to drys, crunchers and small fry patterns.
Bait pond top catch goes to John Allerdyce from Airdrie with four fish for 8lbs 10 oz. Best bait worm.
Coarse loch: well done to Brad with two carp one about 9lbs another between 12 and 15lbs. Still catching plenty of roach and skimmers.
(Patna/Rankinston B730): fly report: Willie McKean three c/r, Davie Duncan four c/r, Barry Fancut one c/r, Olaf three c/r, Sandi one c/r, Derren Taylor two c/r, Brian Sarah Wright from Sussex enjoyed two day’s fishing, they kept 10 fish totalling 27lb 8oz.
