BURNS TROUT FISHERY (Tarbolton): Results for the Open Fly Competition were; First Luke Dovaston with 4 fish for 9lb 2oz, second Tam Boyle with 4 fish for 8lb 7oz, third Kieran Brodie 3 fish for 7lb 7oz.
The results for the Open Bait Competition were; first Kim Dunnachnie with 4 fish for 9lb 8oz, second Jim McKenzie with 4 fish for 8lb 8oz, third Paul Mcgregor with 3 fish for 5lb 9oz. The fishery would like to thank everyone who came along to make the evening such a good night.

COYLE WATER FISHERY (Coylton):A good week’s fishing with most anglers catching fish, the brighter weather has made it a bit harder catching in the afternoon, most of the fish have been caught early morning or early evening as the sun goes down.
Bait pond:- D. Miller from Coylton caught 3 fish weighing 5.38 lb. L. Holms from Troon caught 3 fish weighing 6.00lb. C. Paterson from Coylton caught 2 fish weighing 3.75 lb. G. McCreadie from Cumnock caught 2 fish weighing 4.01 lb. J. Donachie from Glasgow caught 3 fish weighing 5.5 lb. Mr. Murray from Ayr caught 2 fish weighing 3.25 lb. P. Weir from Kilmarnock caught 2 fish weighing 4.75 lb. A. Faddes fron Kilwinning caught 2 fish weighing 3.5 lb. Fly pond:- T. Jarvie from Drongan caught 14 fish using various nomads. M. Denton from Ayr caught 18 fish over 3 visits using mixed caldies. B. McGartland from Kilmarnock caught 5 fish using various buzzers. Mr.Smith from Sanquhar caught 5 fish using a black hopper.
C. Reid from Ayr caught 3 fish using buzzers. Alison Wilson from Coylton caught 4 fish using mixed dry flies.
S. Hamilton from Bellshill caught 3 fish weighing 6.8 lb using black hopper. I. Muncie from Dreghorn caught 3 fish using nymphs. G. Sharp from Kilmarnock caught 2 fish weighing 3.7 lb using an orange fritz. J. Walker from Patna caught a nice rainbow trout weighing 2.5 lb using a black gnat.
SPRINGWATER FISHERY (Dalrymple):Fly loch fishing well, Kenny Barry released 10 fish on damzels and dries, john watson had 4 fish for 11lb 14oz and released another 5 fish on black buzzers.
Bait pond fished well, young mason salmon beat his dad yet again, 3 fish to 2 fish. Hugh Inglis and his son had 4 fish with biggest weighing 2lb 10oz, worm and power bait best. Coarse pond fishing great, scouse from drongan had a red letter day catching loads of skimmers and 6lb 10oz tench, jim anderson on a short session had over 20lb of skimmers and a 5lb tench.

BROOMHILL FLY & COURSE FISHERY: (Patna/Rankinston B730): Although weather turning cold towards weekend still good catches being recorded. Fly pond c/r. Dougie Inglis 10c/r, David Duncan 3c/r, David Duncan Jun. 2 c/r, Willie McKean 4 c/r, Gordon Taylor 2 c/r, Ralph Clarkson 5 c/r, Fred Stewart 3 c/r, Steve Gault 2 c/r, D. Murphy 2 c/r, C.Murphy 3 c/r, M.Timpson 7 c/r, Norman Kettlewell 5 c/r, Archie Thom 3 c/r, Danny Szulc 7 c/r. Strathy AC Competition was won by Davie Hamilton, with 3 fish @ 7lb 8oz, Tom Howe 3 fish @ 6lb 12oz, Brian Bell 3 fish @ 6lb 11oz, Budgie 2 fish @ 4lb 7oz, Scott Howe 3 fish @ 6lb 1oz, D.McKell 1 fish @ 1lb 11oz. A family from London spent their last day at Broomhill, Umme Siddiqua, Mohammad Alzim, Aryan Mandi, caught three fish @ 7lb 13oz. Best flies: yellow beaded damsel, cats whiskers and various dries. Course Pond. Thanks to everyone who attended the open day on Saturday, plenty of carp caught throughout the day. Also, well done to Bob Goodwin from Ayr who won the match on Thursday night with a winning weight of 74lbs 12oz and is now the broomhill match record holder. Second place was Gordy Taylor with 46lb 8oz, third place went to Tommy Mitchell (miracle baits) with 28lb 12oz.
