COYLE WATER FISHERY (Coylton): Fairfield Fishing Club had a great day with most people bagging up,

Bait pond: Mr Aitken from Ayr caught four fish weighing 9.5 lb, Mr Edwards from Ayr caught five fish weighing 10.5 lb, Master McClure from Stewarton caught two nice rainbows weighing 3.75 lb, D. Forbes from Glasgow caught three fish weighing 5.9 lb,
J. Hodge from Glasgow caught three fish weighing 7.4 lb, G. Anderson from Glasgow caught three weighing 7.3 lb. B. Thompson from Glasgow caught three weighing 6.10 lb and released two more on the fly pond.
Fly pond: S. McCormack from Dundonald caught 20 fish using a black buzzer, Mr Robertson from Gadgirth caught 12 fish using various buzzers, Joe Morrison from Ayr caught seven using his famous green machine, R. Brown from Glasgow caught three weighing 8.11 lb using a red and black buzzer, P. Smith from Glasgow caught two weighing 4.6 lb, Mr Hamilton from Bellshill caught three weighing 6.8 lb and released three others.
RAITH RESERVOIR (Prestwick): a quiet week despite the lovely weather but not an unproductive one for those trying their luck.
T. Wilson bagging seven fish. Frick Goudie six fish on a No2 red and gold mepp, J. Lothian six, Tom Drummond four on power bait, R. Scott four, J. Lennon three on power bait, Robert Baillie three on power bait, Tom Collins three for 7½lbs one a yellow dancer and two on power bait (there’s a man that can fill in a return) Andy Faichney two on the running worm, Brian Goudie two on a silver toby, H. McConnell two on a black tadpole.
Those happy with just the one were J. Currie, Allan McGinn, T. J, Allan Carruthers one brown trout, T. and not so happy M. Spence one fish!.

BURNS TROUT FISHERY (Tarbolton): with the clocks going forward last weekend, the evening session is now back on from 5pm until dusk.
Good Year Angling Club held the Robert Gibson Memorial competition which was won by D Donnelly. Heaviest bag went to R Graham with four fish for 7lb.

BROOMHILL FISHERY (Patna/Rankinston B730): although the weather still warm and bright, good sport and catches are being enjoyed by all anglers.
R. McFarlane and D. Hannah released 27 fished from their float tube.
