COYLE WATER FISHERY (Coylton): bait pond: M. Davies from Irvine caught four fish weighing 8.75 lb, D. Bell from the Loaning caught four weighing 8.25 lb, S. Whitworth from Irvine caught three weighing 5.8 lb, D. Smith from Coylton caught three weighing 5.75 lb.

Fly pond: K. Scobie from Girvan caught three using various flies, I. Muncie from Dreghorn caught six using buzzers, D. Galloway from Prestwick caught four using a F.A.B.fly, W. McCulloch from Drongan caught one weighing 2.1 lb and released four others, J. McCulloch from Drongan caught one weighing 2.5 lb and released four others, Mr Veitch from Irvine caught and released three using a pink fritz, Mr Dowson from Skares caught and released two using a hares ear nymph.

SPRINGWATER FISHERY (Dalrymple): fly pond fishing well. Alex Bell released 10 on a cats whisker while one angler didn't leave his name but his catch was reported by other anglers as released 14. Best fly was a Christmas tree. Could all anglers come into lodge and report their catch.

Bait pond also fishing well. Best catch was from Drew Barkley from Greenock with five fish for 11lbs 5oz. Best method was spinning.

Coarse pond was quiet with plenty of roach and rudd getting caught along with some skimmers.

The Springwater bait competition takes place on Sunday, November 20. Bait only, no spinning. Bookings to 01292 560343.

BURNS TROUT FISHERY (Tarbolton): the Victory Bar visited and caught 16 fish between them.

Bait pond: T Hillan two for 7lb 4oz (one at 5lb 4oz), nine-year-old K Owens two for 5lb, R Owens two for 3lb 11oz, M Bunten seven for 12lb 13oz, Mr Carpenter four for 8lb, B Jones one for 3lb 4oz, Kim four for 7lb 12oz, J Patterson six for 10lb 14oz, Rab Purdie four for 7lb 5oz, M Bunten four for 7lb, A Faichney two for 3lb 14oz, D Kirkwood two for 4lb 6oz, Ian Crosbie four for 8lb 8oz, L Weathston four for 9lb 6oz, R Nimmo two for 4lb.
