BURNS TROUT FISHERY (Tarbolton): winner of the open fly competition was Joe Morrison with four fish for 9lb 9oz, second was Robert McFarlane with four for 9lb 5oz, third was Kenny Houston with four for 8lb 12oz.
In the bait competition, winner was Johnny Hall with four fish for 7lb 14oz, second was A King with four for 7lb 10oz.
The fishery thank A Kerr Roofing and Building, Gamesport, Crocketts and Croft Services in Tarbolton for their donations and everyone who took part in making the night such a great success.

SPRINGWATER FISHERY (Dalrymple): fly pond fishing well with some good dry fly fishing during the day. Getting cold at night putting them down except Friday night when there was a great day’s fishing.
Best catch was Alan Jones from Wales who had 19 on shipman’s buzzer.
Bait pond fished well with some nice fish getting caught. Kyle McMillan from Grangemouth had three fish for 9lbs all caught spinning, Jim White had four for 8lbs 9oz on power bait.
The Springwater bait competition is on Sunday, June 26, £20 for five fish plus lunch. Every junior gets a prize also prizes for top senior, top junior and heaviest fish. Bookings to 01292 560343.
RAITH RESERVOIR (Prestwick): a productive spell on various methods for those trying their luck, as reflected in some of the returns.
J. Lothian eight fish, C. Coughtrie six on power bait. Day tickets: Tony Goggins four fish, J. Slater four, Andy Faichney four on the running worm, W. Douglas three on green power bait, M. Spence three on green envy, Jimmy Currie three, John McCririe one for 2½lbs and one at 2lbs, John Coughtrie one for 2lbs, G. Lewis two on power bait for 4lbs, D. Baillie two on power bait.
In the fly department, Andy McKissock two for 4½lbs on a green fritz, Gary Smith one 2½lbs rainbow on a yellow dancer, Tom Collins who always fishes the fly two for 3lbs on power bait.
Among those happy with just the one for the pan were father and son team, Kane Lamont one for 3lbs 10oz on spring green power bait, dad D. Lamont one for 2lbs 10oz, Robert Simpson one on power bait, Jock Patterson on the running worm, M. McLaughlin one for 2lbs spinning, W. Parker one fish.

COYLE WATER FISHERY (Coylton): fly pond: D. Millington, Ayr, chapped five for 12lb on dries, M. Henry, Cumnock, two for 4.19lb on buzzards, K. Carlyle, Motherwell, released three on buzzards and nymphs. John Walker, Ayr, released six on lures, Tam Jarvie over two visits released nine on lures, Mick Quinn, Motherwell, released three on nymphs.
Bait pond: much busier week, Willie Doak, Glasgow, two for 4lb on worms, Mr Gilmour, Prestwick, two for 4.25lb on worms,. G McIlvaney, Auchinleck, two for 4lb on powerbait maggot, Andrew and Kirsty Shaw (12 and 10 years old from Prestwick) chapped three for 9lb on powerbait, Shug Patterson, Mossblown, chapped two for 5lb on powerbait.
Chef Jim Watson and 10 friends had a great day last Saturday, all on two fish tickets, nine of them all bagged up with Jim winning their private competition with two fish weighing 5.12lb. Jim also had the heaviest fish weighing in at 2.87lb. Runner-up was Kingsley on 5.10lb while third was J. Findlay with 5.07lb.
BROOMHILL FISHERY (B730 Patna/Rankinston): Strathy AC visited on Saturday and held a competition which was won by G Kerr with four fish 7lb 4oz.
Second was T Howe with four for 6lb 12oz while third was D. Hamilton with four for 6lb 11oz.
Catch and release: G Gregg three c/r, D Szulc 12c/r, Budgie three c/r, D McKell four kept 6lb 5oz, D. Inglis two c/r, Gail Annal six c/r, Jim Annal four c/r, Archie Thom fice c/r. Flies: cormorants and buzzers are favourites.
Bait pond: Rab and Tam Knox, father and son, had six, kept 12lb 14oz, Cailean McClellan and Angus McLellan five kept 11lbs 3oz, D McGuire four kept 8lb 3oz, R Timson two kept 3lb2oz. Worms, power bait and maggots are doing well.
