SPRINGWATER FISHERY (Dalrymple): fly pond fishing extremely well. Top catch goes to Jamie Picken from Dreghorn who released 19 fish while his son Greg released four.

The Mary Scott Memorial, due to be fished on Sunday, March 13, has been cancelled due to family illness. More details from 01292 560343.

On the bait pond, Ian Rogers had top catch with four fish for 7lbs 14oz. Best bait power bait.

Coarse pond fishing better. The Springwater coarse angling club fished two legs of their winter league sponsored by D&T Security. It was won on both days by Ewan Weed with his best bag on Sunday weighing in at 23lbs 7oz. Jim Anderson was second on both days with best bag 16lbs 5oz. The fishery is open as normal.

RAITH RESERVOIR (Prestwick): last permit renewal dates are Fridays, March 4 and 11 in the Glenburn Miners Club, Prestwick, from 7pm until 9pm. Anyone wishing to make a donation to the raffle please bring it along.

There are a limited number of vacancies for new members. The season starts at 8am on Tuesday, March 15.
