SPRINGWATER FISHERY (Dalrymple): fly pond fishing well. Gary released 10 on mixed flies, lures and drys. Biggest fish came from Mr Ringer with a lovely rainbow of 5lb.
Bait pond also fishing well. Best fish went to George McCarley of Ayr with a nice rainbow of 3lbs. All other anglers catching well, best bait was power bait.
Coarse pond slowed down a little. The odd carp was caught alone with some silver fish. The Mary Scott memorial fly competition is on Sunday, March 13. Bookings to 01292 560343.

COYLE WATER FISHERY (Coylton): Fly pond fishing very well. Catch and release ticket £6 all day.
Adam Easton and Andy Bennet, both from Ayr, 14 fish released over two visits, on a mixture of Flies, Okdokeys, Hairs Lug, White Fritz and Yellow Dancers.
Robert Murdoch from Symington released five on Nymphs and Tam Jarvie had six on a Green Damsel.
Two visitors from Minnesota, Nathan, Ben and family, had a great package day of bait fishing and caught five Rainbows weighing 11.5lb, then lunch at The Waterfront and concluding with an hour and a half’s clay pigeon shooting.
Bait pond fishing well. Roberts family from Dreghorn with young Kian, Shannon and Gemma getting their bag weighing in at 10½ on Powerbait.
RAITH RESERVOIR (Prestwick): After a very successful AGM, the work for the new season is well underway. The reservoir is all tidied up and the water is very clear.
The stocking is under control and all that remains is the permit renewal dates which are Fridays, February 25, March 4 and 11 in Glenburn Miners Club, Glenburn, Prestwick from 7-9pm.
There are a limited number of vacancies for new members. Bring an application form or a letter of introduction to any of the above nights.
