DRUMGRANGE AND KEIRS FISHING CLUB (Dalmellington): The club has annual permits on sale now priced adult £45, juniors £12 and OAP £20.
The club is situated on the upper reaches of the River Doon between Dalmellington and Patna offering approximately five miles of fishing for salmon, trout and sea trout.
There is a strict catch and release policy with regards to sea trout with approximately half of fishing being double bank.
The club also has a number of exchange permits available for members' use. Annual permits can be purchased from secretary Tom McClure, 17 Riecawr Avenue, Dalmellington tel: 01292 551390) or Ayr Road Garage, Dalmellington.
BURNS TROUT FISHERY (Tarbolton): Fly pond: Ian Skilling, four for 8lb; G McLauchlan, three for 6lb; S McLelland, one for 2lb; E Armstrong, two for 4lb, Fraser Galloway, two for 4lb 4oz.
Bait pond: R Purdie, six for 11lb 14oz; Mr and Mrs Fisher, four for 8lb 3oz; M Lindsay, three for 7lb; D Taylor, four for 8lb 6oz; D Black, one for 2lb 2oz; L Miller, four for 8lb 3oz; M Ferguson, two for 4lb 1oz; T Gorman, two for 4lb; J Webster, two for 3lb 14oz; Johnnie Hall, four for 7lb 14oz.
SPRINGWATER FISHERY (Dalrymple): Conditions back to normal and fly pond fishing well. Jim Tomlinson from Prestwick released 19 fish over three short afternoon sessions. Best fly was small orange fritz.
Bait pond fishing steadily. Best catch was Joe Glass with four fish for 7lbs 9oz. Best bait was maggot.
Coarse pond starting to pick up. Dave Morris had three carp and a tench. The skimmers are starting to feed now along with the roach. Best bait is maggot.
