RAITH RESERVOIR (Prestwick): Preparations for the forthcoming season start at the club’s AGM in Glenburn Miners Club, Prestwick on Wednesday, January 19 at 7pm.

A good turnout would be appreciated as the year’s agenda will be decided and important club business discussed.

BURNS TROUT FISHERY (Tarbolton): With the start of the New Year, the fishery has been more like an ice rink but hopefully with temperatures now rising it will soon be possible for fishing to commence very soon. To check fishing availability, phone 07527 405715.

SPRINGWATER FISHERY (Dalrymple): Best wishes to all old and new customers and tight lines for 2011.

The fishery managed to stay open through the heavy frosts but unfortunately it will have to again cancel the Mary Scott memorial fly competition.

This will be rearranged for the beginning of March when it is hoped the weather will be a bit better.
