THE most prestigious pool competition in Ayrshire, the Ayrshire singles, will take place at Boyd's Bar in Dalmellington on Saturday and Sunday (October 2 and 3).
The event brings together 122 of Ayrshire's premier players from the Doon Valley, Central Ayrshire, Kilmarnock and Ayr and District Pool Leagues.
Last year's Ayrshire champion, Chris Davis from Central Ayrshire, will hope to hold on to his title but will face stiff competition from local league champions Jim McLean, Martin Fisher, Scott Lynn and Sandy Lorimer.
The following players must attend Boyd's Bar on Saturday at least 20 minutes before their time slot to register:
