AYR PREMIER TAXIS LEAGUE: The draw for the Ayrshire Singles was carried out at Sunday’s meeting. Qualifiers will take place in the following venues on Thursday, September 16. Players must be in attendance by 7pm for the draw. All matches are best of seven frames.

Corner Pocket (five qualifiers): W McCartney, C Hart, A Graham, M Lynn, H Thomson, C Martin, M Davy, T Hill, I Campbell, N Adams.

Vulcan (five qualifiers): C Thomson, S Phannoi, J Wallace, G Robertson, D Tait, D McSorley, D Brown, R McCrindle, B Campbell, B Melrose.

Toll Bar (five qualifiers): L White, S Elder, S Galloway, J McKellar, Z Van Heddegem, D Hetherington, T O'Ware, I Ritchie, H Hood, G McKeown.

The local qualifiers for Individual Membership event five will be played in the following venues from 1pm on Sunday, September 19;

Cassillis: Robert Cuthbertson, Layton Hodge, Wullie McCartney Jnr, Blair Campbell, Iain McNeillie, Iain Ritchie.

Vulcan: Tam Main, Mick Harvey, Lee White, Niven Adams, Gordon Murray, Dale Russell.

Ship Inn: Chris Colville, Gordon McCormack, David McGawn, Colin Johnston, Stewart Graham, Tony McCarten.

All matches are best of 11 frames. One qualifier from each heat will go through to the national finals at Falkirk on October 23 and 24.

The draw for the Scottish doubles was also carried out at Sunday's meeting. Qualifiers will be played in the Horse Shoe on Wednesday, September 29 from 7pm. All matches are best of 11 frames with five qualifiers going through to the finals at Inverness.

St Boyd & Sc Boyd v C Martin & I Campbell; L Hodge & G Robertson v I Ritchie & R McCrindle; D McGawn & H Thomson v N Adams & L McConnachie.

G McKeown & S Graham and C McNally & G Hay automatically qualify for the finals.
