Motor Racing; Blair is aiming for Silverstone

BLAIR Murdoch is aiming for Brands Hatch and Silverstone...but needs help to send him on his way.

The 24-year-old is currently racing his Ford Fiesta XR2 in the Scottish Motor Racing Clubs Championship.

Now he aims to move up to a newer Fiesta ST model for the 2010 season. Blair, from Dalrymple, said: “I want to do the Scottish Championship but the longer goal would be to compete in the English one.

“Every spare penny I’ve got goes on my racing but it takes a lot of commitment. I would love to go into a partnership with a company and it wouldn’t be a one way thing - I would take the car to trade shows and display their name.”
