Basketball: Tom is head man for Scotland
TROON’S Tom Campbell is the new head coach of the Scotland senior men’s basketball team.
Tom has led Scotland junior men for the past 10 years, competing against some of the best in Europe.
On the domestic front, he has won every title available in men's basketball, from S1 Schools Cup with Cumnock Academy and Marr College through to the Senior Scottish League and Cup success with Troon Tornadoes.
Tom said: “My appointment fulfils a long-held ambition. It will give me the opportunity to work with some of the players who have progressed through the ranks.”
The target for the senior programme over the next three years will be to win the European ‘C’ Division Championships.
