Orienteering: 20 August
THE Autumn Orienteering Score training for schools is about to start up.
Training events will be held from 6pm-7pm on the following evenings, the cost £1 per map.
Thursday, August 28. Kilwinning Sports Club. Tuesday, September 2. Fullarton Woods, Troon. Thursday, September 11. Dean Castle, Kilmarnock. Wednesday, September 17: Irvine Beach Park.
There is also a come and try event from 11am-1pm at Eglinton Park on Saturday, September 13, starting at the main car park.
The Ayrshire Schools Orienteering Score Championships are held at Auchincruive, Ayr, on Thursday, September 25.
