Ayr United fans urged to leave Dons flagging
FANS are being urged to make Ayr’s CIS Cup tie against Aberdeen a flag day.
They’re being asked to bring along old and new United flags for the Co-op Cup tie next Wednesday.
It’s the brainchild of fan Steven McClure who wants to add extra colour to the occasion. Unfortunately the flags can’t have canes or sticks.
Aberdeen’s last visit to Ayr was in 1978 when goals from Gordon Cramond, Walker McCall and Steve McLelland earned United a 3-3 draw.
