Prestwick Cricket Club net £1000 boost
PRESTWICK Cricket Club have netted a £1000 cash boost.
The money comes from the Foundation for Sport and the Arts and is earmarked for the improvement of practice nets for junior cricketers.
The award has been welcomed by Central Ayrshire MP Brian Donohoe. He said: "Despite the credit crunch and pressure on grant awarding bodies, it's heartening to hear young people in my constituency are being supported.”
